A post was made about favorite loops at Walker Valley a while back. My brother jokingly said that the one he posted could be ridden in 35 minutes. So the other day we were talking and came up with the idea to ride the whole loop, and time ourselves. It turns out we completed the loop in 1:43. A fresh $20 bill to the first person to beat that time and document their ride. Remember, the maximum length of trail has to be ridden for each trail. We got hung up for ten minutes behind a quad that needed a jump start so this time should be easily beaten. Here is the video, and there should be a proper map showing the exact route we took.

I'd be lucky to finish all those trails in one day.  Great riding!

Watched all 19 minutes. VERY nice ride. Nice line choice around the 6 minute mark on Webers. I think that would be a pretty tough time to beat...

Make it a $100.

Gees LincolnLock if I'd have known you guys were going to try that loop yesterday morning I would have put my gear back on and gone out with you. I had the entire place to myself all morning, you were the only person I saw up there, was a great day to ride.

Nice vid

Here's the before mentioned map and the list of turns to make. Read through and figure out where you're going first so you don't have to waste time. I'd upload a PDF but it won't let me. The route is in green and crosses itself once or twice on the road. If you want a PDF of it so you can enlarge it and still read it, I can email it to you. PM me.

I'll pay $20 to any Chestnut brother that can finish a night ride, the route will likely be a bit different than your video.

Are all you guys a bunch of cheap asses? I'll take yours too paul, but its gotta be $100 too. And if it is anything more than a girls ride, I gotta get some more batteries for my lights, they only last 4 hours.... Let me know.

Honestly, How many Cheeseburgers can i buy for 20 bucks?   Amateurs.....And &%$#@! is a chestnut anyway?

I accept your challenge!

But in all seriousness the desert riders in Utah do fun stuff like this all the time with timed runs, and hiding money under rocks with a vague picture of where it's hidden. The money just goes around in circles and the pot gets bigger with each person that finds the money or beats the time. We just thought it might be a good idea to try it up here.

Your challenge sounds fun as well.  IT would also be fun to do a ride where every one tapes three bills of an agreed upon denomination and then has to give them up one at a time as payment for help up a hill, over a log,  dewatering bike etc.

Make it hard, run Marty's Mania uphill.

I have done that loop, but it takes me at least 4 hours to do it.

I HATE that stupid rock on the I5 trail. I have yet to be able to make it UP it.
