Was like my third time trying to whip on a huge table top and came up short so when I landed, me and the bike bounced off the track. I don't remembered how I landed tho cause I lost consciousness but for the next like 5 or 6 hrs I refused to go to the hospital because all I had was a couple bruises, road rashes, soreness in my leg and what I believed to be a sprain in my neck so I'm like ima just toughen this out. After a while I got tired of my girl and mom's nagging so I said &%$#@! it and decided to go. After a couple hrs and a few x rays and ct scans, the doctor told me I fractured the third vertebrae from the top of my neck. Luckily it was still closed so there was no need for any operation but I have to wear this annoying ass collar for 8 wks (I know, it &%$#@!ing sucks!).

Has it anybody else gone through this and know any tips for it to heal faster because I want to get back on the track ASAP

Better than being in wheel chair or dead.

I'd say an injury to the spine is something to take seriously. Take your time an let it heal properly.

I'm curious to know if you were wearing a neck brace.

It's a neck injury and in the cervical spine.  I have a good friend from college who fractured C3-4. He's a quadriplegic. Do what your doctor tells you to do.
