Yeah your bro's bike sounds really good.If I could get mine sounding that good I wouldnt mind putting some $$$ into it.
Sounds like he's getting up into the RPms.And yeah these bikes are a blast to ride, mines not even running the greatist and its still the funnest bike I ever rode.
Are you on a smoker condor?

Yeah I am on a 2002 KX250 2 stroke.  The ownership of the bikes is kinda complicated but it works out in the end.
It started out back in 2006 when I bought the 2004 CRF250X used but less than 1 day of riding on it.  A year of riding goes by and I convince my brother he needs to go and buy a bike for him so we can ride together.  At the time he had not been on a bike in about 10 years and even back then it was sharing my old 86 RM125.  I am a mechanic, and a dirt bike enthusiast so I find the bike for him to buy.  We wanted 2 stroke for ease and low cost of maintenance.  I figured he would pick back up to riding fairly quick so we found this extremely clean (brand new looking) 2002 KX250 for sale for $1200.  He buys the KX and we head strait out to the hills.  The KX is a lot of bike for him and he promptly crashes and is discouraged.  Broken brake lever and sore foot 2 minutes into the ride on his new to him bike.  He had ridden my CRF before so for the rest of the day we swap bikes.  I ride the KX with no front brake and he rides the nice electric start CRF.  The next day we go out with a new brake lever.  He wants to ride the CRF and I ride the KX.  We have a great ride and he has never thrown a leg back over the KX.  That was 3 years ago.  Both bikes are stored at my house as I live at a great place to ride and he lives in the city near San Francisco.  I ride both bikes but I find I like the power so I usually ride the KX.  We have more or less traded but the title on the Honda is in my name and the KX is in his name.  He pays for what ever parts he damages on the CRF and I do the same on the KX.  I am a mechanic as I stated so I do all the work on both.  I like riding both and I put money in to both to be honest with you.

Thats cool, atleast your both on bikes that your comfortable w/.Your brother looks like he can ride,we all have room for improvement.
The 2stroke sounds good as well.
I had an old '84 RM125 that was awsome, weighed about as much as a MTB!

My last bike was an '87 CR250 and it was definetly more bike than the CRF,I think about anybody could ride the CRF if the seat height was right.

The CRF is a great bike.  The power of the 2 stroke is a lot of fun but in most conditions, I am faster and more comfortable on the CRF.  Oh I forgot to mention, I do have stainless steel valves in that CRF as well.

My first bike was that 86 RM125, I have also had a 90 RM125.  Both were fun After riding the CRF though, I could never go back to the old RM.  The suspension and brakes are light years ahead on the CRF and the KX for that matter.    I would like to go and try riding a modern 125 2 stroke.  Not to replace the other bikes but just to add to the stable.
