Just picked up a brand new left of 2012 250 xc-f.
Starts up good with the e-start in neutral, but just keeps turning over in gear.
Bit disappointing, is there any way to fix it so it starts in gear?

You need to take tension off the auto decompressor spring, I had to go in twice but she starts great in all situations now.

my 13 350sxf does this when its not really warmed up all the way. Once the engine gets hot it starts up pretty quick in gear.

mine is the same until the engine warms and then it fires right up in gear 2012 xc-f 350.  Recently noticed I cant get neutral while the bike is running. it skips right over neutral and does a hard shift into 2nd.  very easy to find neutral while bike is off. clutch drag perhaps????

I had to adjust my shift lever down a tad on my new 350. Just wasn't where i wanted it and made shifting to second and finding neutral a bit difficult. All bikes with manual clutch have some clutch drag, that's normal really.

On another note i put in a shorai battery to save some weight and it will crank right over now! even in gear. Weak battery may be to blame for me anyway.
