I ordered a new tire and I think I made a mistake.
Is the Michelin Trials Competition tire a tubeless tire?? Do I have to change rims to run a tubless tire if my current tire runs a tube?? Can I run a tube in the Michelin??
Yea I am a nube amd this is my first post on this forum.
Thanks
Ken

If the tire is of recent manufacture it will be tubeless and will say so on the sidewall. You can run a tube in it, Michelin makes a special radial tube specifically for that tire.
If you want information about your wheels you will need to provide some information like what bike they are from.

Buy the tublis system and run low psi never worrying about pinch flats again

tubeless just means the bead shape is a little different, but it will still work with whatever tube or rim you choose. Like mentioned it just may take a little more air and slime to get it to seat up.. On the flip side the other michlen tt mounts too darn ez imo,, had me tightening the rimlock a smidge more.
