Gear change problem wr450

sometimes my gear lever stays down,and will not return unless I lift it to the central position.

Only happens down shifting.Anybody know what's up

Bri,

Mine did the same thing. After 100 trail miles, the problem went away. I have read other posts regarding this issue. Some let the bike break-in and others have the dealer clean up the tolerances.

my gear box was crap for the first 250 - 300 miles then it just loosened up and now its fine.
