Off timing? (see picture)

Just had to turn the engine over one revolution, you were checking the cams on the wrong stroke.


So the timing is okay?:

the cam lobes should point away from eachother and dots on the gears should be level with the top of the head.

u have any pics of where u have the timing marks lined up to on the bottom end? If your're not sure of tdc you can put a screw driver in the spark plug hole and turn the crank over until the screwdriver stops moving up. Once it stops going up you are at TDC. Also double check the timing marks on the bottom end to ensure marks line up.

I put the screwdriver in a spark plug hole aswell,also checked the marks.it was definately on TDC
