upper clamp

was looking for an upper triple clamp from an 09 to put on my 07 yz450 to get the extra forward bar mounts but before I buy a set I just wanted to make sure they will fit my bike.Does anybody know if they are interchangeable?

It should fit, as far as I know.

If you use the '07 lower, it will be simpler. It should just drop right on. The stem was shortened 5mm in '08, and while the older, longer stems will work just fine on the newer bikes, you'd need to swap stems to use the '09 on an '07. But since the offset and all that is all the same, there's no point in making the effort unless there's some other compelling reason to use the newer one.
