high revving

hi guys got a problem with my 99 yz400 when coming to a stop the bike revs its nut off for about 30 40 secs if not more sometimes carbs been stripped down cleaned & blown out any ideas what could be causing this or is this normal if so is their a mod to stop this as ive heard their may be & whats involved

Could be the cable or the carb slide that are being hindered. 30 to 40 seconds is alot.

checked cables & relubed them they are free & easy

Sounds like an intake leak? possibly a TP setting? :)
