I looked around on the forum, and could not find any information on this oil leak.

I have a 2006 YZ450F and I noticed I have a small leak from the base of the fitting that attaches to the vent hose at the top of the oil tank (See item 3 in attached diagram). Has anyone noticed an oil leak from this location before? Is there any suggested fixes?

Thanks

I had the lower fitting leak oil so I went to the local yamaha dealer and bought a new fitting. These are pressed in so I pulled the old one out and tapped the new one in. Has not leaked a drop since.

Thanks. I wasn't sure how to get it out. Good to know that it is just a light press fit that you can remove/install with hand tools.
