Love my 08 YZ450F. Want to buy 2010, 12 or 13. What changes would you make to bike besides mapping? I would make obvious changes like armor & suspension. I read that it is not cammed right for techncal riding? Flywheel?

Depends on how good a rider you are TBH
My '11 - 13x51 final ratio, gearing is probably the biggest hurdle. Maybe even a Rekluse auto clutch, works great on a friends '10.
You have touched on the other mods, radiator cages from Scorpion racing ;-)

I used my 2011 for the Soboba Invitational Trail Ride and had an absolute hoot on it. 50 tooth rear sprocket and revised mapping via the GYTR Power Tuner. I may do the flywheel, but it is further down the list. Next up will be the larger gas tank.
