He didn't buy it from me, it was CoopDawg's old bike. I still have mine and I treat it to regular oil changes. :ride:

The motor will be running TOMORROW !!!!!!!!!!!!

Only things left to do:

- install computer sensor, power, and bracket
- install Ricky Stator HD-4 HID buld and ballast
- thread bars, and install hand guards
- test apump timing and adjust
- NCVS needle install
- set sag
- heat cycle motor 3 times and change oil
- go for a ride...

When you get it running just right can you post your carb setup?

Previous good tunings have been this:

Stock slide
NCVS needle/3rd
165 main
*** 48 PILOT JET ***
Stock Needle jet (emulsion tube)
Stock starter/power jet (choke circuit)
Stock Air jet (intake bell)
45 or 50 leak jet
Merge racing Accelerator pump linkage spring (essential !)
R&D Powerbowl II (for partial throttle smoothness on the road)
2008 CRF450R accelerator pump diaphragm and spring (shortest rivet)
Accelerator pump squirt timing done visually: just barely miss the slide and never hit it
R&D remote fuel screw

Because of the Hot Cams YZ cams, the main jet might have to go up to 170-175.
Since I have not done any porting work (yet....) it might not be required.

SHE LIVES!

She started right up in a sec or two. Let it get nice and hot at idle, for heat cycle number one. Number two will require MAXIMUM load on the engine for up to 15 sec at a time.

The motor sounds considerably more agressive than before (but you can't tell that in the video...).
