I am dying to buy a 450 before the snow melts here in Maine so I have time to get it ready. I know as soon as I buy one, a better deal with pop up somewhere. I usually like to buy from private sale as I can get a feel of how the old owner treated it. A dealer by me has this for sale

I am asking them to plug into it and check the hours for me, once I know that I will make them an offer. I dont want to pay more than 4500 for it, What would you guys pay for it? I have checked it out and its pretty dam clean.

Any input?

Only that you should understand the the hours displayed on the tuner are only from the last time they were reset, if they were. The hours in the ECM can be reset at any time using the tuner.

Offer 4500 for it. It's 2 years old. That's reasonable

Geez, your depressing me, since I have an 08 for sale myself. U have a '10, an '11 and a '13 -- are these tax write offs for you? LOL

Couldn't you also swap out the trick suspension and wheels on to the new bike

Out of curiosity I checked prices where I live (Alberta, Canada), the cheapest '11 yz450f is $6300. I think I should import my next bike...
