Vehicle Details

The bike is great for starters. The seat is only 34 inches so most teens/adults can touch the ground. The bike weighs 260lbs dry but isnt hard to pick up due to it being a little shorter. The power delivery is very smooth and easy to learn, and has great torque and will tractor up any hill in 1st or 2nd gear. If you are experienced on 125/150 fourstrokes I would recommend a 125 2 stroke or a 250 4 stroke as the next step up

After a few rides on the TTR 225, the suspension is sub par, bike is a bit heavy, a bit under powered, the rear brake sucks, the carb sucks, won't start cold, gonna try drilling out the Welch plug n adjust the air screw. Air box is a joke. The good stuff? It handles pretty good, front brake is strong, ergonomics (just feels good), I just want more power and better suspension. Decent trail bike but my last bike (30  somethin yr ago) was an RM 465. Wifey says that's all the bike her old man needs he's not a youngster anymore. ?
