"The chassis mods include new frame tubes, a new swingarm design, lighter wheels and a revamped cooling system, plus new bodywork.

Engine-wise, the 125 gets a new piston, engine casing and ignition. The 200 and 250 two strokes also gets the changes to the cases and ignition, with a new CDI unit. The 300 EXC-E gets an electric start, new cylinder and crankshaft plus changes to the crankcase and ignition, with two switchable ignition curves.

On the four-stroke bikes, the big news is the new 450 and 530 four-stroke motors. The SOHC, four-valve XC4 motor is lighter than its predecessor and features an electric start as well as a kickstart. Prices and availability will be announced soon."

looks sweet! looks even beter than my recently bought, now obselete, four day old '07 450.....

Holly crap that is sweet looking.... My only concern would be that the exhaust would just eat riding pants up. I've melted a few pairs on just small section near the loop on the header. That entire exhaust has now become a concern for burns, it sure looks good though!

Looks like a WR450 motor in there. Is KTM going for durability now!

What's the deal with these fork protectors? They are going to make cleaning the fork harder. Dirty fork equal blown seals...

I am absolutely purchasing an '08 530EXC.

I'm getting a 08 KTM for sure! I think they will be badass.

If my 525 EXC dosn't get here soon I just might have to hold out for an 08.

Good lookin' bikes! But where do the numbers go? On the seat?

UGLY...Where are the grab handles on the EXCs? Same gas cap...2 oil chambers on the 4ts (trans and engine) NICE...Can't see it being much lighter, maybe a few pounds, but that is all. Tank looks bigger, smart.
