Was wondering if anyone had any info on the Europe spec models.
i.e. Throttle stop, Gray wire, etc...

Will I need to cut the throtle stop & gray wire?

Euro spec WR`s dont have the throttle stop, grey wire restrictions....so basically you already have the free mods.
What you do have is a slightly more restrictive exhaust than US spec WR`s.

Jupp, the throttle stop is there.
At least is was there on 01 & 02. Worth checking at least.
Grey wire is not an issue. All the other free mods can be done airbox, blue wire, submarine mod etc.

You are both right, my 02 Spainish model didnt have the long throttle stop but friends 02 Swedish model (which is Europe spec) needed cutting! so its best to take air box to carb boot off and check slide opens fully to be sure :thumbsup:

As far as I know throttle stop and grey wire dont apply to UK models. Have you bought the bike yet? if not try sourcing an import and save £££££££

I have already bought the bike. Coincidentally I live in Japan; were all the WRF' s are re -imported from the UK. I think I got a reasonable deal, out the door with all the taxes and registration and the street legal kit I paid US$5900.
How much are they going for in the UK?

Best UK price I've seen is £4800..

Last year I paid £4000 (US$6088) for my imported 02 WR with full road kit, 3 months warrenty and taxes paid. This year the import dealer quoted £4400 (US$6697) for the 03 model again with full road kit, 3 months warrenty and taxes paid.

I missed out on a new 02 for £3700 OTR last yeat from GTS in London.

Shane - thats the dealer, GTS in London we searched all over the country last year for various bikes and GTS always came out best :cheers:
