Well, this Sunday looks like it will be the final test. The course is rumored to be extremely tight and nasty, and of course with some rain all week long, it should be a mud fest too!!! I will let everyone know if I have exorcised the demons from my bike, Monday after the race! GOD, I hope so!!! Maniac :usa:

Good news! The problem does seem to be fixed. I never had the stalling issue's like in the past. Don't get me wrong, I've still been able to stall it, but it would fire right back up with one kick, not thirty!!! And most of the stalls are from dropping the bike. Mine will die within one to two seconds while laying on it's side from a crash. Is this normal? I checked my float heighth, and it is right on the money according to the manual. The bike is finally running better, now I just need to learn how to ride in that crappy old mud!!! Thanks guys for all of your help in solving this problem. You guys are the best! Maniac :usa:

I have had the same problem running muddy hare scrambles here in MD and PA, the radiators and engine would get packed with mud and in really tight sections it would not stay running. I had an Acerbis tank and the petcock was about an inch and a half from the header. I sold the tank trying to remedy the problem and going back to the factory tank seemd to have fixed the problem, BUT I haven't had it back in those nasty conditions again. I am gonna try what you did to and go back to a big tank cause I used to be able to finish a race with the same tank, I cant do that on the factory tank. I really enjoy the help and advice everyone out there tries to give. :usa:
