Yanni, I see that you mention that you have arranged for field parking across from the drive way. Does this mean that a person could set up a 21 ft. camper trailer there? The reason I ask is because I may decide to bring mine.

Please direct that question towards Kelloggss. I will tell him to get on here again. He's the HQ dude and would know better than me. I would hate to have to answer for his brother-in-law.

I do know this....there ain't no 21'er gonna make it up that freakin' hillclimb/driveway. :busted: Let's hope there's more room right next door.

The physical adress is 575 Brasstown Road,Cullowhee,NC 28723.turn onto Caney fork rd,Go approx 6 miles then turn left on Brasstown rd(state road 1744)then go approx.1 mile and turn hard left at the white mailbox with hand painted flowers on it.If you are not sure that you can make it up the drive we can pull you up with the 4WD FORD.

Primitive camping I don't think will be a problem. The cabin will probably sleep 4 or so ,There is enough room to set up several tent spaces depending how close you wanna pack in you could set up probably around 25 tents or more average size.We will have one out house type bathroom with flushing toilet,One shower stall,A rented port-a-john or two if needed,a holding tank of water for showering, toilet etc.(bring a cooler of drinking water)We do have electricity on one end of the lot where the cabin and bathroom is.I do not care how many people camp there I just know I will be in the camper.LOL. We have an endless supply of fire wood, a great area to Party,Its in the woods and close to the trails so COME ON. I have put a list together of some local motels.I have not stayed in any of them and don't know prices or conditions,They will range from no stars to 3-4 stars.

Guess we need permission for the field for sure. How far is the field from where you guys camping? Cause sounds like we just better leave the toy hauler home and do the tent gig.

I know we have room for at least two campers at the bottom of the hill,There is no hook ups,No one has claimed the spot yet so it will go to the first couple who claim it.I will see how many places we will be able to park campers,We may be able to squeez in a couple more but want know till I get back up there in a couple days. There is a good camping spot just in the forest service on Moses creek road on the left at the 2cd bridge on the gravel road. This is a tent camping spot only and will have to park approx.100 yards away from camp spot,It has a fire pit, and picnic table. If there is a lot of people camping at HQ we may have to let people set up camp then park vehicals at various places at bottom of the driveway,There is limited room on the ridge but we should be able to have plenty of room at Brother in laws, and cousin in laws places to park vehicals and tailers. There is no shower facilities yet and may only be water storage and make shift means to shower off.So you may have to improvise.

Here's what I know of my crew:

1) BPG (Brendan) tent camping Fri & Sat
2) ambdkf - aka Wanderer (David) tent camping Fri & Sat
3) TDG (Tim) tent camping Fri & Sat
4) (Not sure about his screen name) Justin - tent camping Saturday only

maybe if folks could quote this in reply and add to the list (screen name, real name, camping style and which nights) it'd be helpful for y'all?
