No shiite. My ol' lady said they used to party at that joint back in the day and it was infested with snakes. :busted: Johnny, ya'll should've told me in advance and I could have warned ya'll to steer way clear of that joint.

Either way you wasn't staying with me. As many war stories as I've heard about Johnny Africa spooning with his ridin' peeps in the wee hours of the morn......he's all yours DDS boys.

We drove past Carols Crack House twice & somehow couldn't recognize the place from the pic's we saw on the Internet. It served it's purpose & too say the least it was very rustic...

Remeber Folks...you have to ride some pavement to get to some areas. There ain't much short term rental/ hotel accomodation in Caney Fork. Sylva area is probably 10 mi away & the ride is not bad. There is Gas in Caney Fork so you can refuel no problem. Kelloggs place is in an awesome location & has a very steep entrance to his property.

Don't leave your your "Decoder Ring" at home...some of the local Folks talk funny! That's coming from %&*#@ foreigner:banana:

No spooning this trip I’m happy to report but we were forced to close his bedroom door every night due to his, lets say “emissions”. . . . Then again maybe that what kept the snakes away.

Ya know, the more ya ride, especially in search of new zones for YanniPalooza, the more chances you take. Luckily, this 5-0 here is a DS'er and just wanted to see how I got my KLX450R plated.

Did I tell him the truth, or one of my 5-0 procedure fibs? He shall never know. I give you this.....and yes, I found more good stuff today. :ride:

Just got back from Kelloggss' crib looking over Topo's and such. Looks like we have 2 solid days of riding almost all trail and crazy rocks. Mileage looks to be 60 each day, just a guesstimation. That should take care of the gas issue.

60 miles in this terrain will no doubt wear you out. This one is way more trail than the AA300 and there's more rocks. Come one, come all, but I still have no idea how many people are coming. The AA was 30-something. I except the same number to double that for this one. We shall see.

Bring your "A" game with you on this one! 60mi don't sound like much...but I'll be surprised how many ride the full 60.

I can't guarantee you won't hit a car again Pielet....but you can get your bike washed at the HQ by some motivated 4-year-olds. Bonus!

If you are looking to ride the all of the good stuff that not everyone knows about, you will want to ride with these guy’s!!! and don't bring a KLR unless of course you're SallyDog!

A+++ in my book. :cheers:

See post #41.

Ricky T's got my shock and the RM125 forks I picked up. The shock will have

everything but the outer body replaced. He's adding rebound damping (already had comp damping)

and ceramic coating everything.

Once I get that back I just need to make front wheel spacers and a Caliper relocation bracket.

This is tempting me and seeing the mileage drop helps with my gas situation. A lot of things to play out before then so it's all hoping now, but it would be nice to make it for atleast one day. I'm pretty slow though and my KDX isn't great on the road top speed wise, but atleast it's plated.

Here's a video to give you an idea of my usual pace riding with the folks from the infamous Perry thread. (http://www.vholdr.com/node/18690) I'm not the one with the camera, I'm behind him on my old YZ but am happy to say I'm better at keeping up on my KDX.

Your resume has been accepted. :busted: Don't worry about pavement. You won't be on it longer than a few miles and at different intervals. All roads here, paved or not, are up/down/twisty so no problems with running MX gearing.

Expect this:

As much as I hate to say it. . .. .. .. my home state's politics and general view of the public has turned it's head on me, and in return I've turned my head on NC. Living just under 30 miles from TN, I have to stay true to Tennessee and their way of being. Locals to WNC: you know what I'm talkin' about.

Everything West of Statesville; turn it into Tennessee and you won't hear a one of us complaining.

That means Jack Daniel's and a touch of this Cocke County stuff here, is what I tip my helmet for. I hang my helmet on the TN side of the Smokies. :)

Hey Yanni, sorry for the hijack but Team Ghetto was wondering if you might be interested in a little peace offering....... Since you've crossed over to the Dark side (4 Stroke) you're good to go for a Rally moto event. We've never had anyone show up with a Kawasaki 450, so as you can imagine, it would be cool to see. You mentioned in the Sandblast thread @ ADV rider how its not real racing without 2 strokes, so maybe you'll change your mind after some friendly racing?

So far Boatman and Myself are throwing in $30 each towards your entry fee and I'm sure we can get a few members to follow suit. Since DS armory is a Vendor at the event, I'm sure they can help you with hauling you and the bike up here. We can feed you, give you a spot to drop your tent and hook you up with a spot to service your bike. All you'll need is gearing for 100 mph
and turn signals and you're in business!

Here is the link.......

Well, The organizer of BRS just announced that Scot Harden has entered Black river representing Husky on a TE510, so its a great opportunity to line up with a Dakar and desert racing legend that's in the Motorcycle hall of fame.

Another Team ghetto member has just ponied up another $50, so the total is now up to $110.00 towards your entry fee and I'm sure some of your fans on Thumper talk would throw in also.
