Man where the hell have you been?! Husky Retirement is almost officially over. You've damn near missed the goods of the season. We still have plenty of time left though.
The McArthur ride in Southern OH. is an awesome ride. BUT. . . .I can officially say ''been there, done that'' to that one. This Oct, we're stayin' down South. And BentAero's invited. :ride:

I'll drop a hint.
Let's just say it's orange, and he's having to put dirt hoops on it. :)
I decided against the orange. Price was about 500 too high.
I got tired of looking for a used tagged WR. I went the retro route. Just got back
from dropping the shock off at Ricks. He's going to do the full blown ceramic coating etc etc.
Once the new forks and triples get here, he's going to do a full work up on those too.
Can you guess? Street legal from the factory and CHEAP!!!!
I call it "Project Ignorance"

That looks like a blue 650 Suzuki. And the Ktm was 500 to much. And you are having to spend all that money on this thing and it will be cheaper? Should have just pawned off some junk, got the KTM and had a real ready to ride offroad bike IMO. But if you like it thats all that matters.

Well, I had more than enough for the KTM. My buddy had just bought one two years
newer than the one I was looking at for 800 less. I just wasn't going to pay it.
The bike hanging from the rafters is a 93 DR350. After purchasing the bike AND
putting on: Mikuni pumper, header, trailtech, DHH headlight, fender, fully reworked shock,
reworked RM 125 forks and triples, bars, cables, sprockets, chain, hand guards,
and re lacing 17s on a second set of rims, I'm still into it for ~1400 less than the KTM.
It will be a woods and motard weapon.
Plus I'm still going to buy a tagged WR450F when I find the right one. :ride:

I've been seeing a lot of DR350's lately. . .
Not enough vacation to make it back down there, Chris. We're heading to Moab in Sept.
Will be at RORR.

At least I had the brand right. I have a friend that has a 350 and another with the 650. So I thought I knew what it was.

Primitive camping I don't think will be a problem. The cabin will probably sleep 4 or so ,There is enough room to set up several tent spaces depending how close you wanna pack in you could set up probably around 25 tents or more average size.We will have one out house type bathroom with flushing toilet,One shower stall,A rented port-a-john or two if needed,a holding tank of water for showering, toilet etc.(bring a cooler of drinking water)We do have electricity on one end of the lot where the cabin and bathroom is.I do not care how many people camp there I just know I will be in the camper.LOL. We have an endless supply of fire wood, a great area to Party,Its in the woods and close to the trails so COME ON. I have put a list together of some local motels.I have not stayed in any of them and don't know prices or conditions,They will range from no stars to 3-4 stars.

Singing waters campground:828-293-5872(15 miles from my camp on Hwy 107 south of caney fork).
My place is 7 miles up Caney Fork so allow plenty of travel time.
The drive up to the ridge at my place is steep and is not recommended for RVs unless it is 4WD. If there are interest in someone bringing an RV and wants to camp with no hook-ups we may be able to make arrangments for a place to park close.

No shiite. My ol' lady said they used to party at that joint back in the day and it was infested with snakes. :busted: Johnny, ya'll should've told me in advance and I could have warned ya'll to steer way clear of that joint.
Either way you wasn't staying with me. As many war stories as I've heard about Johnny Africa spooning with his ridin' peeps in the wee hours of the morn......he's all yours DDS boys.
