Are these trails and area of riding applicable to dual sports?

Not particularly, you could ride a dual sport bike such as the DRZ400S in this area. But I think you would not be happy if dual sport riding is what your looking for. This is an off road riding area although the roads with in the area are open to non-plated bikes, quads or what have you. Its not a huge area except that it offers enough diversity of terrain to make a 40 or 50 mile day interesting. First timers to the area who do not have a guide to show them where the good stuff is are often disappointed.

Thanks for the info. Maybe that Taneum area would be more dual sport suited.

Alan, there was no snow on Saturday but that may change by next Saturday. We had a half an inch of snow in Quincy today (Sunday) but the folks coming to Quincy from outlining areas said they did not have snow.
