well, since you crashed out, and didn't get any prize money, you should still be able to race B

If I recall correctly...Toby Kimbro was reacently disqualified from Vet B/C at anarea qualifier in Illinois earlier this year for previously running A class correct? Well...I just checked the Thunder Valley area qualifier results and it looks like he signed up in Vet B/C again and placed 5th? Was he notified of this decision or trying to beat the system? Doesn't it say something in the AMA rulebook about suspension for repeatedly riding out of class?

well if he only got 5th he's not a very good sandbagger.

He made it to Loretta's last year in same class. Maybe he went down? He won the other area qualifier this year and was 2nd at Mid East Regionals last year.

Kimbro finished TOP 5 in Vet B/C 30 Plus at the NATIONAL last year. Per MX Sports supplemental rule #3, Kimbro is no longer eligible for Vet B/C: "Riders who placed in the top 5 overall in a "B" class at the previous National and are 16 years of age or older as of January 1, 2008, are no longer eligible to compete in a "B" division." http://www.racerpress.com/newsmanager/templates/?a=128&z=18
Looks like MX Sports took Daniels out of the results from DuQuoin, but Kimbro is still in there. :excuseme:

i think you need to make sure this guy is 'buddys" with some one over there and ask that question agaiin.....they get to the regionals like last year and they will say "to bad this is our classes" no more changes. if they pull that nik, have a few bucks in your pocket for LL, that and those are protestable offenses which they have to address.
hell maybe i should go qualify for 30 B, see how that flys, i am 50 gary peak did that crap for years.
Any sightings this weekend? Call'em out!

Kid running 3rd in 250B and 14*24 at Megacross on a #724 Kawasaki was supposively an A rider at one point.....sad thing is, he still only got 3rd behind Sanders and the other RM250 2-smoker.

You know I've never see the likes of people who track what classes everyone runs and trys (crys) about them winning too much, then say they shoud move up so as you might have a chance to win. We have raced for 6 years solid, and all I ever hear is, that guy needs to move up, or that guy is sandbagging! Have you ever seen how fast these kids are around the country? Should a kid riding for 6 years, at 16 years old move up to A class because he rides fast? Or should an older guy that has raced b vet be moved up because he kills his class but more than likely cant or doesnt want to run as hard as the faster class. Iam sorry about this type of post, but it just seems you all are sounding as sore loosers.
OK here we go....let me guess, your a proud parent of a kid who has been in the C class for six years and probably gets protested when he wins by a half a lap. Those who post to this thread are those who find a true sandbagger and call em out (i.e. previous "A" rider lining up with Vet B guys, for example)Is your kis mentioned in this thread?

No he isnt and he races A. I dont like it when they sandbag, but there is worst, those that complain about it. Grow up and speeded up! Let me guess bg your the proud parent of a kid that gets smoked in the begginer class after 6 years, and dont like it, so they protest or better yet talk about them behinde there backs.
Nope just enjoy, like many others on this site, seeing people like you justify why racers don't move up. No I don't have kids that race. What if your kid moved back down to B next year and smokes everyone? Is that sandbagging. This goes on all the time and this site can shame at least .5% of them. Relax and be proud that your boy is in the class he probably belongs in. You must have been one of those mini parents who always been part of the mx drama....lol

Rode 80's for the first couple of years and we would get smoked. He took his loses and kepted on going. I'am sorry too come off as a jackass, but Ive heard it all! Just wish people would worry more about themselves, or there kids, and leave the others alone. If your getting smoked, work on you riding skills, instead of talking smak skills, its not polite. In my opinon.

You don't come across as a jackass...but follow us on this one. Many of us have been riders in district 17 since childhood. The AMA is doing a piss poor job of advancing riders when they need to be advanced. They completely dropped the ball in 2008 and, at least in the vet classes, nobody got advanced from "B" to "A." We would like our friends that aren't such great riders have a chance at winning at some point. Polite? We are passionate about the sport enough to care and that's a good thing. Being polite is not a concern. I also have a son that is slow as crap on the 65's....
