If I drove 8 hours, I would ride too. Apparently the DR folks were there and reported it correctly. I will happily read reports of the "Br(i)(y)ans" riding the 475TT bike.
Thank you to all the folks that made it happen and stepped up with their own time and money. For 99.99999% of us, this is free entertainment. You guys put your professional reputations and money on the line for our fun. Thanks and F**K all the haters, they can get a CRF (sorry Bryan) and b*$w the rest of us. :worthy: :worthy: :worthy:
Great work, proud to have a DR-Z also!

Looks like the boys there at CRFs only are a little insecure. We all know the type, they try to bash things and people that they feel as being superior, but anyone with a brain can see right through it. :naughty: The TT team did a fantastic job, the DRZ is the superior product. :applause:

I just wanted to say I think you guys did a great job building this bike. I owned a DRZ and voted for you guys to build a DRZ because that is the most active forum here. I also visit CRFSONLY because I now own a 450X. I think both bikes turned out great and they will both get great reviews. Keep in mind 99% of the people on crfs only came from TT and still read both. Some are jokers on both sites and some just like the information on both sites. From my understanding this is not a competition but a review on what the guys and gals like to do for mods and how they make the bike better from stock form. I don't think there will be a so called winner. But it sure has shown a lot of losers. Bottom line is when dirt riders get together it is about having fun and helping each other out. TT owners really stepped up and showed they love the sport by helping the other owners in a pinch. Good Job TT and the others that help CRFSONLY with their burnt clutch. I look forward to reading the review and maybe they can do this again next year.

Sounds like a pretty cool deal between all the sites thrown in with a lil' bit of comaraderie. Can't wait to read the story when it comes out!

I will say that the owner of CRFs Only was a very nice guy, so I don't think this thread is representative of how he tries to run his show. The forum leaders all were class acts.

I have rode 300xc's and in stock form they will give a 450 a run, they are more fun than a CRf450 flat out.
I can only imagine what type of power your KTM brought to the table. If it were my choice I would take both the DRz and the KTM. They would be the most fun of the bunch.
:
I have an '04 KTM 300EXC and an '06 DRZ400S, both of which I ride almost every weekend. I believe neither bike can be beat for what they were designed for but neither is a replacement for the other. The DRZ simply weighs too much more than the 300EXC, and the 300EXC doesn't make a good street bike, period.
Spending a lot of $ on the KTM doesn't result in a bike vastly more capable than a stock one. Much the same can be said about a CRF, CR or YZ. On the other hand, what TT did to the DRZ transformed it into a bike far more capable and versatile than a stock DRZ. I understand now why TT chose the DRZ.

Does "Dual Sport" = trails and mx? I always thought "Dual Sport" was on road and off road.
