I'm available for podium duty, will work cheap. Winner must like older men, somewhat bald with a small pooch belly. I have been told my arse is still cute though, wonder if the wife will mind. Thorina can even pick out the "attire".

I am an equal opportunity voyer. I will look at any nekked or half nekked guy....old, young....short, tall....skinny, fat! :applause: :applause: :applause:
I would dig a "regular" guy in a thong calander. Just regular guys....the ones you'd see on any street....at any track....out for any ride. I'm middle aged.....so the "build" of a middle aged man doesn't bother me a bit. I think there is something terribly sexy about a not "10" kinda guy hanging it *mostly* out there and feeling good enough with himself to do something like pose for a calander. I spent $13 for a district calander.....it's cool and all....but I'd probably spend $13 on a calander of guys I basically knew just hanging out there. Not nekked.....something needs to be left to the imagination.....but scantily clad. I'd even dig some of the bigger boys....all tanned up looking all proud of themselves....yup....I'd dig that a bunch!
But.....admittedly.....I think I'm kind of a pervert, in that respect. Not sure that other women would dig a calander of middle aged, less then perfect looking guys. Maybe.....maybe other women see that "confidence" kinda thing like I do, though. I mean....any guys that looks like a Chippendale....well, of COURSE they'd let it all hang out.....doesn't take much confidence when you are like Mr Olympia, ya know. But.....there is something....umm.....just something in a confident guy that has a flaw or two that can still do that "muscle guy" pose with a smile.

If nothing else.....we get a bunch of guys at a race all boozed up......*then* we could get a BUNCH of pose type pictures!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D I am not nessesarily opposed to taking advantage of a bunch of middle aged drunk guys! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
Morning Rider.....what is your favorite kind of beer? I'll repect you in the morning.....I *promise*.

peace,
janette

Its a good GOAL to keep in mind, however... never hurts to aim high when it comes down to how you behave in the world, and how you treat other people!

True, I do try to treat others with respect, but I am thinking of the big picture here..... outside of the swimsuit model box... I'm thinking I could not give respect to say Bin Laden or Son of Sam is what I mean... everyone will draw the line somewhere. It was a good post though, very positive.

Ok I'm coming back in here. I really wish you thumperettes would post your male bashing posts in the off topic forum so we can freely repond there, but perhaps you want to just girl talk about guys without the males interfering or offering any point counter point and that's fine. .

If I wanted to "Male Bash" I would hit hubby over the head with one my Tech 8's..... :D I dont think any of the "Thumpettes" are posting on this forum with with the intent to "Male Bash." ..................... :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

No, you see the same crap in most genres of male targeted advertising. If you want to go there you're talking the intellect of the average man.....

Yeah....lots of it my my MIT journals and National Geographics and Scientific American.

I was talking about the intellect of the average MALE I guess, but it has been my take on TT that about 15% of us explain things to the other 85.

I have read all the responses. Through your collective eyes, especially the thumperettes, I see that my emotional laden words are causing a mess,....really it's poor typing impulse control, the roots of my message/ my intent is minor and only meant as a another opinion but yes my tone is way too negative and I apologize for that.

but enough excuses on my part..........This is the third strike against me here in the thumperette forum, and although I thought I had some other positive and fun posts in the past here, This is the third time I came in here and dumped a big terd, this post, once before with mommyrider and once before with the Valentines day post.

Three strikes and your out. I support that, so I bid you adieu. I will not post here in the thumperette forum again. I like thumpertalk. I will continue to exist in the SW forum for rides and the husky forum for my bike.

Morningrider,
You have had some good responses on here. Heck I even took you off my ignore after the spat we got into. I enjoy your post and don't have a problem with you. I have gotton over it.Sometimes it is hard to tell someones tone by reading what they type. You have came off like a jerk and didn't mean too. I know I have come off like a b1tch before without trying to. But sometimes when things get personal, feelings get hurt, then it's not funny anymore.

I can only speak for myself when I say you are more than welcome in here, but try to spare some peoples feeling in the process.

I know I will be seeing you out on the trail soon, and for some strange reason i kind of look forward to meeting you in person :excuseme: I don't think you are a bad guy at all. Just every once in awhile come off *jerkish* but hey we all do at one time or another....

Thanks for the apology BTW

Who says we can't all kiss and make up once in a while. That what these forums are for; to voice opinions and get more info to decide on how to make your own take on a particular topic. No one is forcing their opinions on anybody; it is a take it for what is worth situation. If you don't like it, don't continue to read it. Some guys need a bash on the head on occaision :bonk: as do some women. That is what makes us all unique and lovable.
I feel that the apology is unecessary,(didn't hurt my feelings) but Kudos to you anyway. This is known as class

TT has "Class"! That sets this site apart from most. Everyone's view of the world is highly speculative. But the day to day reality changes with the ebb and flow of popular opinion, what's in, what's out, and majority rules. Would be a much better world if some nations would get along so nice.

Yeah, I got the same thing from my kids when they saw some adds in Transworld MX. That opened up a good discussion on modesty and self-respect.

Because of those ads, we don't buy certain magazines.

My son, now 8, last summer saw some ads of bikini clad girls sitting on motorcycles and says 'That's not very smart, she doesn't have her riding gear on.' I replied, 'you're right'

We cover the morality/ modesty thing later, for now, it's just plain stupid.
