A new track just opened in Forkland, Al. It's about a mile in length, located in a flat field. Open 7 days a week (no lights) just stop at the house as you enter and sign their waiver. It's not technical at all (there's not one jump a 60 couldn't do) but it's a pretty good local practice track if you're in the area. You can see a couple pictures here. (http://www.bamabikefest.com) The couple running it are cool and open for any suggestions. They've got a water truck, disc, and a bulldozer. The only thing they're short of is dirt!
