the 250 FAQ suggests a small ball bearing.
other folks have soldered it closed.

I need more specific info on the ball bearing. Where did it come from? I am having a heck of a time finding one that fits.

Yes I have. Soldered, no ball bearing. It works great.

Solder for me. I actually soldered this one closed a couple years ago to install in my KX125's Power Jet, so the solder has held up well to a couple years now of use. Just make sure to get the jet good and hot with the iron, and be sure to use flux. Eventually the solder will flow into it. I then used a thin screwdriver to hog out the screw slot so I could install it. I also used a small drill bit to make the top all nice and beveled looking. :D

Yep, soldered it closed. The leak jet has an indentation in the bottom which is easy to fill with solder. Just clean it up afterwards and screw it back in. No problem.

I found a bolt with the same thread and simply cut a section the same length as the jet, and cut a small slot into the end so i could use a blade screw driver to tighten it into place. Easy.
