Hey guys,
I just wanted to let you know that we now have a kickstand available for the 98-04 KTM EXC,MXC and SX models. The kickstand is longer than the factory unit so the bike does not lean over as much.
Check out the pictures of it on our website at http://www.promotobillet.com
Thanks!

Looks very nice! But I have to say they seem to be too expensive to justify not bringing along a stand or triangle...

Funny I was just thinking the other day....why dont they make one for a KTM?
Perfect for those SX/EXC conversions
Brap makes a kickstand extension that goes in the end of the stock kickstand. It's like $30. Works great.

You also can get a factory center stand for that kind of money. It looks way more trick and is actually functional for working on your bike. My kickstand bolt broke last week and I'm trying to decide on the $150 for the center stand or $50 for a bolt and extension from BRAP.

I have one on my YZ450F and now if/when I decide on a 525 (EXC/MXC) I'll have one there too. I had a 2001 KTM 300 EX/C and it fell over once due to the stock stand and put a big dent in my Scott's stabilizer.
Now all I need is a "Kick-It" stand for the little womens KX-100 and she be happy too.

I just put mine on today and it is a piece of art work. The bike leans at the correct angle and it tucks way up under the side plate. It is expensive though. Now no more worries about go out to the garage in the morning and seeing that the 450 had fallen on the 950 it sets next to!

My european centerstand kit from VintageSpeedy (www.ktmtalk.com) cost slightly more than $100. It works great! It is so much easier to check the oil and coolant level, adjust and lube the chain, check the spokes, burb the forks, etc. It works great in the the woods, and you don't have to wrestle (sp?) the bike up on to a crate or stand to work on it. I would never go back to a sidestand. :D

I put mine on my sx last weekend, works way better then the stock stand on my exc did. Tucks up nicely out of the way also.
