Event: CJCR Boyer Farm Hare Scramble

in California Events
Added by HSriderCRF250R , --

Taking place Mar 05, 2011 (Single Day Event)

Attached is the event flyer for the CJCR Harescramble March 5th and 6th at the Boyer Farm. We have been working all winter to put together a fun and challenging course for everyone. Here is some additional information....

Gates open Saturday at 8am.....please NO CAMPING on Friday night....if your planning to get a head start Friday there are plenty of places in and around Winchester to park/stay for the night and you will be within an hour of the farm.

There are two hotels in Romney, WV which will put you within 20 minutes of the farm......but keep in mind this is 20 minutes past the farm if coming from I-81. Links - http://www.koolwinkmotel.com/ and http://www.wvafun.co...files/sbir.html the South Branch Inn is nice, I have never been to the Koolwink.

Other hotel options would be in Winchester, VA and will get you within 1 hour of the farm. A good option for those coming down late Saturday for Sundays races.

Plenty of camping at the farm.....no bonfires....were looking to set-up a fire for all to enjoy....no individual fires!!!!!

We will have a food vendor on hand for Sunday, I am not sure about Saturday yet.

Please plan on taking home what you bring in, we will have a VERY limited number of trash cans available.....trash bags will be available from the CJCR girls around sign-up.

Please pay attention to the directions on the flyer, campers over 35' have to use an alternate route....it adds 4 miles to your trip.....trust me it will be worth it.

No pit riding, to and from the tech inspection and starting line only. Helmets must be on at all times!!

Awards to all 50cc and peewee riders....youth will be 1 for every 3 riders

If your riding the series please take the time to sign up for your rider number and make sure your AMA card is current, doing this online now will make things much easier on race day...... Adult http://www.ecea.org/...d=107&Itemid=15 and Youth http://www.ecea.org/...d=109&Itemid=26

We have a few local shops and some sponsors throwing in everything from gift certificates to cold hard cash!! You can find them on the flyer.......

We are looking for any race day help, please find Andrew Tsakanikas, Brian Boyer, or Carl Rehatchek on race day if you want to help out before or after your race....you can PM me now if interested.

Online Sign-up should be available soon.....

Any questions.....shoot away....
