This event is being sponsored by Team MGR, one of the project's major donors. There is no registration cost for this or any other of the day's events.
The 470-acre, $250,000 trail project was developed and implemented by the Harlan County Tourism Office and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Harlan Lake , with primary funding provided by the Federal Highway Administration's Recreational Trails Program, which is administered in Nebraska by the Game and Parks Commission. Trails were built by the U.S. Forest Service enterprise program, Trails Unlimited.
