Saturday pro riders take the track for Octane Fest's Tuff Cross Challenge, similar to an EnduroCross; Sunday amateur rock the course at the Churchill County Fairgrounds in Fallon, NV
Octane Fest is affordable, family-friendly motor sport Jamboree full of of live music, food, celebrities, and wall-to-wall 4x4 and 2x4 events, Truck and Tractor Pulls, The Hurricams Show & Shine, NHRA Drag Racing, “Nevada Racer” Short Course Truck and Motorcycle racing action and IMCA Dirt Track Racing.
“We are creating a participant-driven festival that will bring gear heads to compete in mud bogs, truck pulls, demolition derbies, rock crawls, show & shines, ATV, and motorcycle and truck racing to Fallon to race in their specific events,” said Ty Erquiaga, Nevada Motorsport Productions/Octane Fest director.
“Our Tuff-Cross race is similar to an EnduroCross. It will challenge both the professional and amateur off-road racer who aspire to race the national series but wants to get their feet wet. There’s nothing like this in our area, and we aim to really grow this event,” Erquiaga said.
